Was that it?
Just like the Prophecy of the Phoenix, there was a reddened moon, there was smoke that darkened the sky (in Europe), children of the wyrm did crawl out into the streets. But what happened starting in 2004 sounded more like the vampire's prophecy of Gehenna than the Phoenix. Cain rose and Elder vampires had to drink their children to stave off some kind of Withering.

Scholars and Garou leaders are divided on if that the Apocalypse that was thwarted, or if the real Apocalypse is around the corner.

Left out - to some extent
Many Garou are confused or offended that they weren't a larger part of the biggest war against the Wyrm. While many Garou saw combat (especially in Europe and New York) during the war, it was no where near the casualties vampires gave themselves. Even the mysterious Angelic force seemed to be a bigger part.

It makes the victory against Pentex seem unreal, confusing and hard to celebrate for some.

Leadership
King Albrecht is dead in the battle of New York.
House Cresent Moon of the Silverfangs consolidated power at the same time that Russia was changing it's mortal leadership. However, they are the most in denial about the Veil changing and this has severely damaged their authority. It's just a matter of time before someone emerges as the new leader of the Nation.

Fenrir
The Great Wolf Fenris is asleep. He can not visit anyone to make them part of his tribe until 2031 (predicted)
That means the Get of Fenris are in a complete mess. For a decade there have not been new Get of Fenris and a good amount were killed in the big war. The JarlHammer bearers are already getting old with no one to come and take their place!
Morale is shattered by the Great Wolf being put to sleep.
