In the island of Dokos, a new caern has been reborn! Under the stewardship of Merciful Strike of the Alpha Pack, as part of her Elder Challenge, the caern of Dokos has been rebuilt thanks to the efforts of several packs and packless who came to the island to aid Gaia.

Following the battles at sea, battles within the Umbra, the successful ritual of Caern Building, and communion with the Nesoi, the caern was reborn and dedicated to Gaia's Wisdom. The caern is unique for it's call to Champions, Anchor Head into the Umbra, Moon Bridges throughout the Aegean, and a strange Library that was unearthed.

Following this, the caern, now a Sept, was challenged for leadership as those most capable in the eyes of Gaia and Mother Death showed their capabilities. Merciful Strike now leads as Sept Leader to the Fount of Equilibrium as decreed by the Galliards of Dokos. This newest Sept has won the favor of Eurus, the Eastern Wind, as it's caern spirit.

In unrelated news, a goose was loose in the Sept, but was graciously collected by it's owner. I hope that the pen that was constructed for it might be opened to all wandering chattel or remade as a shrine to Hera.
